New to Github so facing problem with github campus expert training

Hi everyone. I’m Abhinav. New to github and also to this community.
I’m selected to take github campus expert training on github.
But the problem is that the assignments that I have to do is that, I don’t know how to make repositories and branches and pull requests and all such technical terms. Even I don’t know the meaning of them.
If someone can help me out by sharing their knowledge and resources from where I can get to know and learn, will be apperciated.

Hi Abhinav,

Congratulations on getting accepted on the training. I have completed mine and am now a Campus Expert. I have a few suggestions to help you with your questions.

First one would be to join the Spectrum chat, there are a lot of experts doing their training on there and there are a lot of useful posts, including this one Spectrum FAQ link where there is an entire FAQ on what to do and which posts are useful for which chapter and work. Also, that is the best place to ask for help and questions as there are a lot of people who can guide you through

Secondly, read the README on your campus experts repository carefully and you will get an idea of how to get started with your submissions.

Lastly, if you want to learn more about GItHub and how to use it on the Github lab link.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the helping and letting me know
