GitHub Classroom requesting perms in infinite loop

I created an assignment for my class and many are stuck in an infinite loop where GitHub Classroom is requesting additional permissions. Is there something that they can do? or a fix in the works?

That was one of the things that I had tried and it did not solve the problem.
